Boat tour to Amalfi and “Divina Costiera”.

Our boat tour to Amalfi and the Amalfi Coast begins with a stop at Li Galli Islands, by the largest of the three islets that make up the small archipelago a few kilometers south of the Sorrento Peninsula. Inhabited since Roman times, the islet has always exercised its charm on important figures from history and entertainment who have made it their home: from Leonide Massine, the Russian choreographer and dancer to Rudolf Nureyev. Set in unspoiled nature, the archipelago is located in the protected area of Punta Campanella and a dip in its crystal clear waters is truly a gift for sea lovers.

Then we continue our navigation to Amalfi, the “capital” of the Amalfi Coast to which it gives its name, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1997. The Amalfi Coast is exceptional and extends in all its dazzling beauty like a platform suspended between the intense cobalt blue sea and the last slopes of the Lattari Mountains, that stretch into the sea with countless terraces planted with citrus and olive trees, coves, beaches and beautiful caves. The most famous is the Emerald Grotto which owes its name to the emerald hues the water takes due to the sunlight that filters through an underwater fissure that connects it to the open sea.

In addiction, during our boat excursion there will be fantastic shows such as the Fiordo di Furore.

Once in Amalfi, you will have free time to visit the ancient town, the Maritime Republic, whose layout of the houses is of oriental influence and recalls the souks, with groups of houses close together and built on steep slopes, connected by a labyrinth of alleys and stairs .

Do not miss a visit to the Sant’Andrea Apostolo Cathedral with its marvelous staircase and its enchanting cloister, called Chiostro del Paradiso, one of the most visited monuments of the coast but also a tour of gardens and the belvedere of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, both located in the nearby town of Ravello.

Our boat tour in Amalfi ends with the return in the afternoon to your departure port.

Great way to see the coast!

Picked up on time from our hotel. The boat was nice and spacious. The tour assistant was friendly. Great way to see the different parts of the Sorrento/Amalfi coast in one day. Good amount of time spent in each location too!

This was a great excursion! Great guide and driver–showed us the sites, provided food, drinks and added to the fun with a great personality. We got a chance to swim off of the boat in the surprisingly warm Mediterranean (in October).

The stop to Amalfi w perfect.

A highlight of our trip.

Excellent day out with excellent tour guides. Picked up from hotel and taken to harbour. Once grouped got on the boat and set off along this amazing coast line. Was lucky enough to sit at front of boat and although a little bumpy at times was great fun. Views were stunning. Time to explore Amalfi and time for a swim for those that wished to. Lunch and beverages supplied. A truly amazing experience. Dropped back at hotel. Would definitely recommend
