Capri boat tour: the Pearl of Naples Bay.

Our boat tour takes you to the beautiful island of Capri which has very ancient origins, infact its name derives from the Greek kàpros, meaning wild boar, a term connected to the Latin capreae, goats (in ancient times the island was known as Caprae, in Greek Κάπραι).

The island of Capri is part of the Campania Archipelago together with Ischia and Procida islands but is undoubtedly it is the most famous. Its coast is indented and in the numerous inlets gorges and coves and steep cliffs overlooking the sea alternate themselves.

The various caves, hidden under the cliffs, are the chosen destinations for all the boats that transport tourists from all over the world impatient to visit them. The most famous is the Blue Grotto: often it is necessary wait to visit it a little bit but it worth because its exploration is certainly one of the most beautiful images that you will take with you at home. Also famous are the Green Grotto, the White Grotto and the Wonderful Grotto that we will have the opportunity to visit during our boat excursion to Capri.

Other characteristic and noteworthy points are the famous Faraglioni Rocks, three small rocky islets a short distance from the shore that create spectacular effects and have become the symbol of the island making it recognizable all over the world, and, last but not the least, the Natural Arch, Punta Tragara and Marina Piccola.
